On August 5, the Leapmotor × Haitian D99 Delivery Ceremony, themed “A New Flagship Realm, Leading the Era,” was successfully held at Haitian’s headquarters in Ningbo.
Chairman Zhu Jiangming of Leapmotor Technology, Senior Vice President Shu Chuncheng, Deputy General Manager of the Electronics Product Line Fang Peigen, and other senior executives attended the ceremony. Haitian Group President Zhang Bin, Haitian Plastics Machinery Group Vice President Ye Jingbo, Global Industry Line Director Xu Bin, and other senior executives also joined the event. Guests from both sides gathered together to witness the milestone moment as the Leapmotor D99 flagship MPV was officially delivered to Haitian Group.
That morning, the delivery ceremony officially kicked off at the Haitian Auditorium. Zhu Jiangming, Chairman of Leapmotor, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the Leapmotor D99’s key product features and the technological expertise built on a decade of comprehensive in-house R&D. He also reflected on the long-standing partnership between the two companies and expressed his hope that their collaboration would continue to deepen through greater coordination across the industrial chain.
In his speech, Zhang Bin, President of Haitian Group, noted that Haitian and Leapmotor have developed a strong relationship and a highly trusted partnership over the years. In the past, Haitian leveraged its advanced equipment manufacturing capabilities to support Leapmotor in the production of automotive components and quality improvements. Today, Leapmotor is empowering Haitian’s corporate operations and business mobility with the D99, a vehicle that brings together the company’s technological achievements. Following the speeches, leaders from both sides jointly unveiled the D99. Zhu Jiangming, Chairman of Leapmotor, presented the vehicle keys and a bouquet of customized flowers to Zhang Bin, President of Haitian Group, followed by a commemorative photo marking the occasion.
Following the delivery ceremony, the Leapmotor delegation, accompanied by Haitian executives, visited the Digital Exhibition Hall, Haitian Machinery Global Application Center, and Haitian Machinery production base, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Haitian’s manufacturing strengths and multi-industry synergies.
That afternoon, the two sides held a high-level meeting and engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including collaboration across the new energy vehicle industry chain and capacity planning and alignment, exploring opportunities for long-term cooperation. After the meeting, the guests visited Haitian’s Shandi Factory, where they toured projects including integrated die casting and high-end CNC machine tools, gaining a close-up look at Haitian’s well-established industry chain and comprehensive capabilities in the new energy vehicle sector.
The batch delivery of the D99 marks another important milestone in the deepening partnership between Haitian and Leapmotor. Previously, the two companies had already established successful cooperation in the intelligent manufacturing of automotive components, jointly developing a fully integrated smart production solution covering the entire process from raw materials to finished products. This collaboration fully demonstrates the strong synergy and close alignment between the two sides in technology integration and industrial collaboration.
