From September 22 to 24, Haitian International’s Ruma factory in Serbia successfully concluded its Open Day event. The three-day event attracted nearly 900 industry customers, partners, and representatives from across the industry, spanning 30 countries. Together, they witnessed Haitian International’s latest achievements in localized manufacturing in Europe and integrated collaboration across the entire industrial value chain.
As an important manufacturing and service hub for Haitian International in Europe, the Ruma production base in Serbia welcomed guests to explore its assembly lines, spare parts warehouse, and localized supply chain operations. The visit provided an up-close look at how Haitian International is putting its global strategy into practice.
At the Open Day, Haitian International showcased its MA and JU series injection molding machines, along with the Zhafir ZE series, covering key application sectors across Europe, including automotive, consumer goods, packaging, medical, and logistics. Each solution was equipped with a complete automation system, providing a realistic demonstration of production-line conditions in mass manufacturing.
Haitian MA Series showcased three typical application solutions at the event. The MA1600V/570 ECO produced PS bowls with a cycle time of 19.2 seconds, featuring an energy-efficient servo-hydraulic system that helps customers control overall production costs. The MA3800V/2330F PRO, a high-speed model, produced two-cavity PP buckets in just 4.3 seconds, demonstrating the packaging industry’s focus on both speed and precision. The MA1200V/400 produced storage boxes with a cycle time of 32.7 seconds and supports a wide range of materials, including PP, HDPE, and PS-HI ABS. Its flexibility in handling multiple materials and product types provides practical and efficient solutions for the household consumer goods and storage container markets.
The Zhafir ZE Series focused on medical consumables and high-speed packaging applications. The ZE1900V-830h produced 64-cavity PP syringe plungers, with an individual part weight of just 0.34 g and a cycle time of 6 seconds. This highlighted its capabilities in high-precision multi-cavity molding, meeting the local medical consumables industry’s demand for high precision and consistency. The ZE2300VF-830hs produced four-cavity PP IML food container lids, with an individual part weight of 5.6 g and a cycle time of just 2.8 seconds. The solution demonstrated the machine’s advantages in high-speed, low-energy-consumption production for IML applications, aligning with the trend toward automation in the food packaging industry.
The two Haitian JU Series machines on display focused on molding large-sized products. The JU10800V/8950 produced single-cavity PP large logistics containers, with an individual part weight of up to 2,260 g and a cycle time of 108.9 seconds, demonstrating stable molding performance for large logistics products. The JU6500V/4650 produced automotive lighting system components using PC material, with an individual part weight of 429.8 g and a cycle time of 41.6 seconds. With its compact footprint and high clamping force, the machine is well suited to applications such as automotive components and large industrial parts, helping European customers achieve efficient localized production of large-sized products.
Beyond injection molding solutions, the event also showcased products and solutions from other businesses within the Haitian Group. Five CNC machining centers from Haitian Precision and die-casting machines from Haitian Smart Machinery were among the highlights. This multi-industry showcase, brought together at Haitian International’s Serbia factory, enabled customers from around the world to experience Haitian’s one-stop smart manufacturing solutions in a single location.
Located in Ruma, Serbia, this factory represents a key milestone in Haitian International’s global expansion. Spanning 250,000 square meters, it benefits from a strategic location at the heart of the Balkans and serves as a central transportation hub along one of Europe’s major logistics corridors. Leveraging this strategic location, the Ruma factory brings manufacturing, service, and supply chain capabilities closer to the European market, establishing a localized operating system that serves Europe and surrounding markets. By staying closer to customers and responding quickly to their needs, the factory further strengthens Haitian International’s global logistics network.
