At this year’s K Show, Zhafir made the global debut of the ZE-F all-electric packaging machine, purpose-built for the packaging industry. Building on over 20 years of expertise in high-speed applications, the ZEV-F Series leverages Zhafir’s fifth-generation all-electric platform and a robust, long-lasting machine structure to achieve breakthroughs in speed, precision, and durability — representing a new leap in productivity for next-generation packaging injection molding equipment.
On site, the Zhafir ZE2300VF-830hs demonstrated a “2+2” multi-cavity production of 500 ml food containers. With an injection speed of up to 500 mm/s, each molding cycle was completed in just 3.2 seconds. Featuring smart energy management and real-time consumption monitoring, the system achieves 30% energy savings. The newly developed 2650-type injection unit is specially designed for ultra-high-speed thin-wall applications.
The machine is deeply integrated with an IML system and automation modules, seamlessly connecting high-speed labeling, post-process visual inspection, and stacking units to form a cohesive automated workflow and enable one-stop delivery. From raw material injection to in-mold labeling, it delivers a complete intelligent high-speed packaging solution. In the medical sector, the Zhafir ZE1500V-300h medical-grade machine demonstrated the clean production of 1.5 ml syringe barrels made of COC (cyclic olefin copolymer) using an 8-cavity mold. This material combines glass-like transparency with high temperature sensitivity, demanding extremely tight dimensional precision. With precise temperature control and stable injection performance, the machine completes each molding cycle within 30 seconds, maintaining a consistent injection weight of 24 grams. This ensures full product consistency and overcomes the processing challenges of COC materials, showcasing Zhafir’s precise control over high-transparency and temperature-sensitive polymers.
To meet the stringent cleanliness requirements of the medical industry, Zhafir has refined every design detail. The mold area is enclosed in stainless steel, the machine base is elevated, and NSF-H1 certified lubricants are used to eliminate contamination risks at the source.
