Haitian Officially Introduces X-Injection
Deep-AI for Process-setup, -optimization and -monitoring

Shanghai, China — At CHINAPLAS 2026, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the plastics and rubber industries, Haitian is introducing the “X-Injection“, a new-generation AI solution purpose-built for injection molding scenarios. Leveraging advanced artificial intelligence and a native edge-to-machine coupling architecture, this “external AI brain” enables the practical implementation of AI in injection molding on a global scale.

Targeting Three Core Challenges in Injection Molding

Although automation is now widely used in manufacturing, injection molding still relies heavily on operator experience. Manufacturers today face three recurring challenges: a shortage of skilled technicians, limited transparency into production deviations, and inefficient machine setup and optimization.

X-Injection Molding Cloud is developed to address these issues with a smarter, more adaptive, and more scalable approach.

Industrial AI for the Shop Floor

The physical carrier of the system is an industrial-grade edge computing device tailored for demanding shop floor environments. It deeply integrates directly with Haitian’s machine controllers while seamlessly connecting to cloud-based computing resources. Already successfully deployed in leading home appliance, automotive, and 3C customers since 2025, it tackles complex processes like multi-component molding and sequential valve gating, transforming advanced AI into an accessible digital infrastructure.

Four Core AI Capabilities

X-Injection Molding Cloud is built around two key pillars — setup optimization and production health — and includes four core functional systems:

  • Intelligent First-Shot Process Recommendation

For new molds with no historical data, the system can recommend initial process parameters within seconds based on mold and material inputs, helping novices to the capability level of experienced engineers.

  • AI Defect Diagnosis and Recommendation

For issues such as flash, sink marks, short shots, and flow marks, the system provides parameter adjustment recommendations and continuously learns from successful corrections, turning successful experience into reusable digital knowledge.

  • Production Process Early Warning

AI-based models detect even minor fluctuations and provide early warnings before quality deviations become visible. At the same time, the system supports root cause analysis by linking deviations to potential sources, whether related to setup settings or external influences on machine behavior.

  • Advanced Process Toolbox and AI Agent

The platform also includes advanced tools such as DOE designer, AI-based process prediction, what-if analysis, and multi-objective optimal setup recommendation. In addition, Haitian’s AI agent “X-Manubot“ offers troubleshooting guidances based on extensive historical service data.

A Competitive Advantage through Native Machine Intelligence

What differentiates X-Injection Molding Cloud is Haitian’s unique OEM advantage. While many systems focus only on data collection and monitoring, Haitian’s solution goes deeper — into machine logic, process behavior, and production decision-making.

This native integration between machine and intelligence provides a solid foundation for X-Injection Molding Cloud to deliver not only visibility, but actionable process optimization and smarter manufacturing outcomes.

With the official launch of X-Injection Molding Cloud, Haitian is taking another important step toward more intelligent, efficient, and resilient injection molding production — supporting manufacturers worldwide to Level up! Their Efficiency.
