Recently, Gao Chengyong, Director of the Manufacturing Management Department of Weigao Group, led the core management team to visit Haitian South China Headquarters. The two sides carried out targeted benchmarking exchanges focusing on smart factory construction, digital production and operation, as well as lean management systems.
Gu Jianhua, Product Line General Manager of Haitian Machinery (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., Wang Jianlei, General Manager Assistant, Zhu Hongguo, Global Medical Industry Line Director, Wu Zhenfan, Director of KA Customer Technology and Application for the Medical Industry Line, Chen Yilong, General Manager of Qingdao Branch, together with other key management personnel, participated in the exchanges and seminars throughout the visit, where both sides shared advanced management concepts and practical experience.
During the exchange, the visiting team conducted in-depth tours and inspections to gain a comprehensive understanding of Haitian’s practical achievements in the research and development of high-end intelligent equipment, digital production management, intelligent warehousing collaboration and automated production line construction. Covering aspects ranging from automation upgrading and digital transformation operation to technological innovation and quality control, the visit enabled the visiting team to develop a more intuitive understanding of smart factory development.

Subsequently, the two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including the planning and construction of smart factories, standardization of production processes, the implementation of AI-based quality inspection applications, the establishment of equipment preventive maintenance systems, efficient delivery of small-batch orders, and green and low-carbon production. Drawing on years of practical experience, Haitian shared its practices and experience in building digital systems, upgrading intelligent production lines, closed-loop management of production abnormalities, as well as energy-saving and consumption-reduction renovations.
Beyond technical benchmarking, both parties also delved deep into operational management.

At the operational management level, the discussion centered on talent development, improvement culture development, performance incentive optimization and cross-departmental collaboration. Haitian’s practical experience in the company-wide improvement mechanism, on-site management enhancement and lean project implementation offered new insights for Weigao Group to continuously improve its organizational operational efficiency.
