Haitian International Partners with Hennecke on IMC Solutions

As the global automotive industry accelerates toward greener and more premium manufacturing, Haitian International has entered into a strategic partnership with Germany’s Hennecke to further develop integrated injection molding and in-mold coating solutions for the automotive industry.

Founded in 1945, Hennecke brings more than 80 years of expertise in high-pressure polyurethane metering and mixing technologies, with strong capabilities in high-pressure mix heads, precision metering pumps, and in-mold coating.

By combining Hennecke’s expertise in PUR processing with Haitian’s injection molding technology, the partnership will strengthen Haitian’s turnkey PUR paint-free solutions.

Upgrading IMC for Large-Scale Production

Compared with traditional“injection molding + post-painting”approach, in-mold coating offers a more efficient process with lower emissions and more consistent quality. Haitian has already introduced PUR paint-free turnkey solutions and expanded IMC applications from interior parts to exterior components.

With this partnership, Haitian and Hennecke will work more closely on system-level integration across design, development, manufacturing, and control. By combining Haitian’s injection molding technology with Hennecke’s PUR metering, mixing, and coating expertise, the two companies aim to improve process accuracy, stability, and production efficiency—especially for mass production of large, high-gloss automotive exterior parts.

Proven in Real Applications

Recently, Haitian presented a mature IMC application during its Open Week.

One highlight was the JU7500M/2400 automotive grille solution, built on a PC/ABS + PUR material system and optimized for front grille applications.

The solution integrates Haitian’s multi-component technology with PUR equipment to deliver precise metering, stable coating thickness, and better pressure control, helping reduce defects such as bubbles and orange peel while improving yield. At the same time, optimized molding and coating processes shorten cycle time, improve material use, and remove the need for a separate painting workshop, helping lower overall production costs.

The solution can also be adapted for automotive, home appliance, and 3C applications, with coating effects and automation levels tailored to customer needs.

A New Benchmark for IMC Technology

This partnership brings together two complementary strengths to support the next stage of IMC development. It addresses the production challenges of large exterior parts with demanding surface finish requirements while meeting the growing market demand for higher appearance quality and lower-carbon manufacturing.

Looking ahead, Haitian will continue working with leading global partners to advance in-mold coating technology and support greener and smarter manufacturing.
